Day 44 - Watched Mavericks

The big wave contest held at Half Moon Bay here in California. Some waves can reach 50 feet and only 24 surfers are allowed to enter each year. I watched in live online, from the comfort of my couch, but the big screen at AT&T Park was also showing it.

If you're like me and know nothing about surfing, it is still worth it to check out some footage or photos and marvel at the feat. Those guys are seriously talented and seriously insane.
